Welcome to Heritage Public School

Heritage Public School is a new school located in the rural village of Navan. Heritage embodies the characteristics of a community school with the parents and members of the community working hand in hand together for the good of the students. Heritage Public School officially opened its doors on September 5, 2006.

About Our Students

Heritage Public School has an enrolment of 363 students. Our school offers excellent English and Early French Immersion programs. The English program begins at JK and continues to grade 8 while the French Immersion program begins in SK to and continues to grade 8. The JK program is taught in English for both streams.

When our students graduate from Heritage Public School, they move on to Cairine Wilson Secondary School located in Orleans. Some of our grade 8 students may also choose to attend specialty programs which are offered in Ottawa at the Ottawa Technical Learning Centre or Canterbury Secondary School.
